Adult Dog Training for Family Pets
The first step to having the dog of your dreams is booking your 30 minute introductory in person Consultation.
We begin every new private training client with a 30 minute initial in person consultation to meet you and your dog! During this time we will ask you lots of questions to get a feel for your training needs and goals. This helps us to plan better for your official dog training lessons and ensure you’re booked into the correct program to meet your needs. This also allows you a chance to get to know us and ask any questions you have. Making sure you feel comfortable with us and knowing we’re a good fit for each other is really important to us. We look forward to meeting you!
Initial Consultation Fee is $50
Manners and Basics
This option is suitable for clients with dogs 6 months or older with little to no training who are looking to have their dog be introduced to, or advance, a variety of basic obedience commands, and household manners. Training is an excellent relationship building activity, and provides your dog with much needed mental stimulation!

- Having your dog behave better around guests
- Stop jumping all over you
- Stop stealing food off your counter
- Walk nicely on a leash
- Coming when called*
- …. and Generally just listen better!
What YOUR program consists of will be discussed and decided between you and the Trainer.
This course is not suitable for dogs with serious behavioural issues or aggression

$500 for 5 Private Lessons (one hour each)
Off Leash Control
This private coaching option is specifically suitable for clients who have a strong desire to have a solidly reliable off leash trained dog, and are willing to put the work in to make it happen. If you want your dog to COME when you call it, even if distracted, & to take your dog ANYWHERE and trust it to be on its best behaviour, this is the program for you.
You MUST have taken another training course with us first as a prerequisite
This course is not suitable for dogs with serious behavioural issues or aggression
Reliable off leash training is the icing on the cake. If you’ve put in the required pre-requisite training with your dog and are ready to take things to the next level then this is it!

Behaviour Rehab
Have you recently adopted a dog that came with some behavioural issues? Or maybe you’ve raised your dog from a puppy but they are still struggling in some areas despite your best efforts. You’ve come to the right place. There isn’t much Desiree hasn’t come across in the last 14 years.
Desiree has a high level of education and experience in helping all kinds of dogs through all kinds of issues, including; many foreign rescue dogs that have previously experienced abuse, trauma, and neglect, and who are struggling to adjust to their new home life and environment.
As a mom and multiple pet owner herself she is able to assist with conflicts around babies, kids and other pets. Desiree is ready to share her tips and tricks on keeping everyone safe, healthy and happy. In theory, kids and dogs sounds like a lovely combination, but often complications can arise. From feeling generally overwhelmed balancing the care of your kids with care of the new puppy puppy or dog, to more serious situations where a bite risk could be possible. As a mom herself, Desiree is equipped to help you through this phase and set you up with steps to achieve safety and stress reduction.
