We forgot to post last week! This is me out today in the sunny cold weather. I may have no eyes but I know where my mom is and I am so good at listening. I love being off leash. I have a special harness now for when I do need a leash though and when I hear it jingle I get excited to put it on

5. Prevent Heartworm Disease
Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and can lead to inflammation of the blood vessels, restricted blood flow, pulmonary embolism, and heart failure. Luckily, it’s easy to prevent heartworm transmission with a simple pill or topical product once a month.
6. Know Your Breed
Certain breeds have genetic predispositions for specific heart conditions.
7. Watch for Signs of Heart Disease
If you notice any of the following symptoms, seek veterinary attention:
- Dry cough after exercise
- Cough that worsens at night
- Shortness of breath
- Rapid weight loss
- Fatigue
- Fainting spells
- Pale gums
- Swollen abdomen (pot belly)

- non-adhesive layer
- gauze
- vet wrap
- medical tape
🐶A pet safe topical antibiotic ointment
🐶Benadryl for allergic reactions

🐶Topical wound spray (such as Vetericyn)
🐶Scissors with a round edge
🐶Tweezers
🐶Neck cone

If hiking, you’ll need an additional item in case you need to carry an injured pet out who cannot walk, such as the Fido pro harness.

Grab a large sheet of paper and cut it into small pieces. On each piece, write down a fun activity that you and your dog can enjoy together. These can range from a long walk at the park, a game of fetch, teaching your dog a new trick, or even a trip to the pet store. Be sure to include a variety of activities that will keep both of you engaged and active.

Once you’ve written your activities, place all the slips of paper into a jar, which will now become your “activity jar.” Each day (or whenever you’re looking for something fun to do), reach into the jar and pick an activity at random. It's a great way to add some excitement to your routine while ensuring quality time with your pup.

You can also use this idea for training! Instead of just fun activities, write down specific commands or tasks that you want your dog to practice. This way, you’ll have a new training goal to focus on each day, helping to keep training fresh and effective.

I am super good in the car and one time I even got to go to a hotel. Have any of you puppers stayed at a hotel??
It was unfortunately the last time I stayed at a hotel because I refused to pee or poo for three days no matter what Mom tried. Walks. Off leash park. Quiet places. Extra time. Favourite toys. Finally peed on the last morning and held my poop till I got back home. 🫢
